For other types of Storage, see Piles and Tanks.

Warehouses are Solid Storage icon.png Storage buildings. They are not Factions icon.png Faction specific. They store all types of solid Goods that aren't stored in Piles. Liquid goods are stored in Tanks.

Visuals

Warehouses are wall-less, exposing the stored goods as stacks of crates. The number of crates visually indicates the warehouse’s occupancy. There is not a one-to-one relationship between the visual crates and the occupancy. Crates are painted with a different color and icon to represent the type of goods. Warehouse entrances are decorated with banners representing the type of Goods stored inside.

Usage

You can pick a single Good to store in each warehouse. You can change this selection anytime, but before haulers start bringing the new resource, they must remove the old one. Building warehouses adds their storage capacity to the District Center icon.png District they are connected to. They do not transmit Power icon.png Power.
