Well-Being is a tool group. It contains a category of
Buildings that increase
Beaver Well-Being. These buildings and structures satisfy unique Needs, or treat specific Well-Being debuffs.
Well-Being buildings are mostly
Faction-specific, but some basic buildings are common to both factions. The more advanced Well-Being buildings require power, late-game consumables, and substantial quantities of late-game construction materials.
Popularity meter
Well-Being buildings have an extra feature in their detail window. The Popularity meter is a rolling 24-hour display of the usage. Each column represents an hour. The inverted triangle indicates the current hour. Columns to the right of it indicate the usage from those hours the day before.
When most columns are very high, it means you need another of those buildings to satisfy demand. When most columns are very low, you may have too many of that building.

Strategies
Increasing population Well-Being is a constant goal for both factions. Similarly to
Food, increasing Well-Being is very positive for Folktails. The resulting increase in lifespans means a smaller ratio of unproductive kits to working adults in the population mix.
However, for Iron Teeth, increasing Well-Being means population growth. Ensure sufficient food, water, and shelter or pause some
Breeding Pods.
When District populations grow and need duplicates of Well-Being buildings to satisfy them, this can be a good reason to create new Districts containing separate clusters of workplaces. The rough ballpark for this figure is around 100 Beavers on a light work schedule.
