Main article: Barriers.
For the Folktail equivalent, see Contamination Barrier.

Irrigation Barriers are Landscaping icon.png Landscaping utilities that prevent Contaminated Terrain from spreading. They can only be built on the ground. Unlike the Contamination Barrier icon.png Contamination Barrier, Irrigation Barriers also block irrigation, depriving plants of water if other irrigation sources are not available.

Usage

As Irrigation Barriers block irrigation, maintain a fresh water supply behind them to keep terrain irrigated to support Crops, Trees, or Bushes nearby requiring irrigated land to survive.

Alternative sources of irrigation include channels fed by Fill Valve icon.png Valves set to block badwater, or irrigation pools fed by Fluid Dump icon.png Fluid Dumps.
