See: Metal Platform 3x3

This page describes something now replaced by another feature in Early Access Update 6 of Timberborn. This page will stay on the Wiki for historical records.

The Metal Platform (Obsolete) icon.png Metal Platform (Obsolete) was a solid Buildings icon.png building that allowed building in high places.

It provided a 3x3 building space 1 tile above the location where it was placed, which could be stacked infinitely to expand existing building space along with the wooden platforms.

Unlike the wooden platforms, the support column was completely solid, so paths and power shafts could not be built through it. However, the remaining 8 tiles surrounding it did not block construction or plant growth like an equally wide set of wooden platforms, so you could use these platforms to build above a farm, forest, or set of non-stackable buildings (though it would still be blocked if those buildings were built high enough to clip into the platform).
