Metal Platforms are wide 
Platforms that only require 
Metal Blocks to build. They are 1 high, with a 1x1 central base, and a thin 3x3 or 5x5 top. They are useful for creating elevated build space above non-Solid structures, especially when placed on 
Overhangs.
The surface is permeable. Fluids flow through Metal Platforms unless covered with an 
Impermeable Floor. However, Fluids flow horizontally through the central column.

- Update 6 Metal Platforms made 1-high, and are not ground-only. Both versions are not faction-specific. Replaced
Metal Platform (Obsolete), 
Large Metal Platform (Obsolete). Pillars were introduced as a save file conversion to replace previous versions of Metal Platforms. Players can not build these.
