A Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeway is a building made for Iron Teeth icon.png Iron Teeth commuters to travel within their Tubeway System icon.png Tubeway System. Once inside, commuters gain +300% walking speed, greatly reducing travel time.

Commuters traveling in the tubeways are fully isolated from the environment, preventing beavers from getting wet fur or Contaminated icon.png Contamination. Despite its looks, all commuters in the network can travel in Solid Tubeways bidirectionally and concurrently, meaning that there are no single-directional "lanes" or "traffic" in Solid Tubeway.

Construction

Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeways connect automatically to other existing tubeways, and does not require any removal or rebuilding to re-configure the network.

Along with the Tubeway icon.png Tubeway, the Solid Tubeway can be built underwater. Open-ended Solid Tubeways do not let water into the system, and is not affected by Flooded Building icon.png Flooding as a whole.

Unlike the Tubeway icon.png Tubeway, the Solid Tubeway is Wooden Platforms icon.png Solid and is the only way a Tubeway System icon.png Tubeway System can path vertically and connect upwards. This is also the required building for connecting to the underside of a Tubeway Station icon.png Tubeway Station.

Transport

Builders' Hut icon.png Builders can build while physically inside the Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeway. In addition to the regular building reach on Path icon.png Paths, builders in a Solid Tubeway can build vertically upwards directly above their heads.

This extends the Iron Teeth builders' versatility and reach, allowing for building and cleanup projects to occur immediately around its footprint and quickly constructing upwards.

Beavers of other workplaces however would have to exit the station for other purposes.
