A Tubeway Station icon.png Tubeway Station is an entrance building for the Iron Teeth icon.png Iron Teeth Tubeway System icon.png Tubeway System. Once inside, commuters gain +300% (x4) travel speed, greatly reducing travel time.

Construction

Like the Folktails icon.png Folktails Zipline Station icon.png Zipline Station, Tubeway Stations can be built underwater, allowing commuters to enter and exit underwater. Caution is advised when placing a station underwater, especially if the body of water is susceptible to Badtide icon.png Badtides, as beavers might exit into a body of Badwater icon.png Badwater and get contaminated . These two buildings are one of the few beaver-accessible buildings that can be fully submerged without being Flooded Building icon.png Flooded.

A Tubeway Station icon.png Tubeway Station can distribute Power icon.png Power to adjacent buildings, but since it's not the case for Tubeway icon.png Tubeways and Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeways, the Tubeway System icon.png Tubeway System as a whole is not meant as a replacement for long-distance power transmission.

Along with the Folktails icon.png Folktails' Zipline Station icon.png Zipline Station, the stations can be built with the entrance right up against another building's entrance, effectively surpassing the use of Path icon.png Paths and connecting the building directly to the transport network.

Transport

Tubeway icon.png Tubeways and Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeways can be connected to the 7 very visible sockets at its sides. A Tubeway Station can also be connected from the 6 sockets below, but requires a Solid Tubeway icon.png Solid Tubeway to do so.

Unlike the Folktails icon.png Folktails' Zipline Station icon.png Zipline Station, Builders' Hut icon.png Builders can build while physically inside the Tubeway icon.png Tubeways. This extends the Iron Teeth builders' versatility and reach, allowing for building and cleanup projects to occur immediately around its footprint. Beavers of other workplaces however would have to exit the station for other purposes.
