Platforms
Platforms are buildings used to serve as a foundation or bridges to other structures.
The Platforms is a solid Building. They are versatile, raised 1x1 surfaces. Common uses include:
- foundations: filling in sunken terrain for pathing or structures; and
- bridges: raising paths, power transmission, or fluid flow (if covered with an Impermeable Floor) over obstacles.
There are currently 3 different Platforms in Timberborn:

Construction
Platforms can not be used to build above non-solid structures. To achieve that, use Overhangs, Metal Platforms, or Suspension Bridges to pass over the structure, noting that bridges are only suitable for foot traffic.
Unlike Levees, platforms can be built and used in water without obstructing fluid flow. They are often stacked and used with Wooden Stairs to form spiral staircases to ascend tall structures.
Many small structures and decorations can be built underneath platforms of sufficient height, like Wooden Stairs under a
Double Platform, or
Paths underneath a
Platform.
Overhangs can be built with the overhang inside of the legs of the
Double Platform and
Triple Platform.
