Path icon.png Paths are one of the essential structures in Timberborn.

Usage

Almost all Buildings icon.png buildings require being connected to a District Center icon.png District Center through Paths, or else no Beavers icon.png beaver will make use of them.

Paths are built instantly and do not require any good nor beaver to build them. They can only be constructed on the ground or a solid structures.

Paths also extend the District Center boundaries, allowing to construct Buildings icon.png Buildings, have access to Rubble icon.png rubbles or remove ressources Mark resources for demolition icon.png marked for demolition in a 19x19 square centered on the path.

Worker behavior

To access a map element, a Workers icon.png builder will first travel to the closest path to said element, disregarding any other path that would also be in range. This can result in an increased distance and loss of efficiency if the closest path takes a longer route.
Workers icon.png Farmers and Workers icon.png gatherers behave differently, chosing the shortest path between the map element and their building entrance.

Trivia

The flavor text is a reference to John Denver's song : "Take Me Home, Country Roads"
