Timberborn is a survival-based colony-building game. In a unique twist, it is a colony of
Beavers in our world, where hoo-mans have perished. There are several Beaver
Factions to choose from, each with their own unique gameplay style. Not only do you manage the colony through
Day and Night cycles, but you must also manage punishing
Seasonal weather.
Gameplay takes place on numerous stand-alone
Maps, both official and created by players using the Map Editor. On smaller maps, you must use your skills with the vertical stacking architecture to maximize the use of the available space. The maps feature flowing
Fluids to provide drinking
Water and Irrigation for agriculture to grow a range of
Food. You can dam the rivers and streams and use the current to drive
Water Wheels to provide motive
Power for industry.
All of this requires
Science research to unlock ever-more advanced
Buildings. The buildings produce a variety of Goods to be stored and consumed, by Beavers, their industry, or even the android Beaver
Bots. Bots to shoulder the increasing workload. Use
Terraforming skills to bend the landscape to your will, perhaps separating your colony into
Districts for improved logistics.
All of this and more is provided through the simple and intuitive User Interface as you improve the
Well-Being of your Beavers by meeting their myriad Needs.
