Wind is an occasionally changing attribute of the environment.

In any given moment, wind is determined by two qualities: strength and direction. When accounting for time, it has a third quality, duration. Wind is globally uniform on the map, and all maps use the same formula to roll wind qualities.

All three qualities are evenly distributed random variables. Strength may be any number between 0% and 100%. Similarly, the direction can be any direction from 0° to 360°. Wind duration hoverever is always between 5 and 12 hours, not necesarilly a whole number of hours.

After a wind's duration is over, a wind with new qualities will be rolled.
