Knowledge is an optional need for  beavers. Being optional means a beaver will not suffer ill effects, like death or passing out, from not fulfilling knowledge.

Knowledge is optional, but like any other need, fulfilling it will increase the well-being of the beaver affected by it.

Warning

Knowledge can only be satisfied by adult beavers.

Requirement

To fulfill knowledge a beaver needs time off of work and access to the  books  material.

Satisfying Need

The materials that satisfy knowledge are as follows:

To create books requires access to the  printing press  building

Effect of Knowledge

• On kits: None
• On adults: Working speed (+25%)
