The  Underground Pile has the largest pile pile storage capacity in the game. It is unique to the  Folktails faction.

The underground pile costs 1000  Science to unlock and costs 20  Logs, 80  Planks, and 40  Gears to build.

Strategy

Even though the costs could be seen as somewhat expensive, the sheer amount of pile storage capacity it can add to a district is definitely worth it.

The Underground Pile can store up to 1800 units of a single type of the following materials:

•  Logs
•  Metal Blocks
•  Planks
•  Scrap Metal
•  Treated Planks
