District Gate

Prior to Update 4, a District Gate was used to separate Districts, or to create a border between a District and the wilderness.

In Update 4, the District Gate was removed from the game, and its functionality was replaced by the District Crossing.

District Gates could connect two District Path Networks together allowing for Distribution Post icon.png Trade Routes to pass, but could not themselves be built on an existing Path icon.png Path. Instead, they must be built on cleared land and the two paths are then connected to it. All paths that would join two Districts required a District Gate to separate the Districts.

Like paths, it cost no resources and required no builder to build a District Gate.
