Injury
Injury is a basic need. When a beaver gets injured it will refuse to work until fully healed. Injured beavers will get a bandage on their head, tail, feet or hands.
Getting injured
Every hour, all beavers working at any of the workplaces listed below have a chance of getting injured. The chance of receiving an injury, as well as the severity of it, differ between workplaces.
Healing
Beavers heal 10 points of injury every day. A fully injured beaver (-100 points) will take 10 days to recover without the help of a medical bed.
Medical Bed
Injured beavers can heal faster by using a medical bed. The medical bed will heal the beaver for an additional 1.5 points every hour.
While a beaver is using a medical bed, their sleep and shelter needs will not decay and, as such, will not have to be satisfied nor will the medical bed satisfy these needs. The beaver will still need to satisfy all other needs, like hunger and thirst.
Because of this the recovery time while using a medical bed will depend on how long it takes for the beaver to satisfy their needs. It will be faster than the maximum recovery time but how much faster will vary.
