It is larger than the barracks at 3x3 tiles, requires 400 
Science to unlock, and costs 70 
Logs to build.
With that larger size, increased build cost, and unlock fee the housing slots of the large barrack are increased 60% compared to the barrack to make the total housing for the large barracks 16 
Beavers.
