The  Oil Press is a Food  Building exclusive to the  Iron Teeth.

Usage

Consumes  Canola Seeds to produce  Canola Oil which is used in:

•  Fermenters to make  Fermented Soybean;
•  Food Factories to make  Eggplant Rations and  Algae Rations; and
•  Grease Factories to make  Grease.

Construction

 Oil Press must first be unlocked with 120 . It can accept and transmit power through every side block except the doorway, as well as underneath.

Strategies & Tips

Late game: as Canola Oil is consumed in vast quantities for food production and Bot boosts, it is advisable to:

• build a lot of presses. A half dozen is a good start.
• build them near large fields of canola crops
• have a large warehouse nearby for the canola seeds
• have a large tank set to supply nearby

1 seed to 1 oil means it doesn't matter if your District Crossings transport the seed or the oil, there is no benefit either way. Whatever strategy works for you is fine.

Approximate planting ratio is:

• 1  Canola for 8  Soybean
• 3  Canola for 4  Eggplant
• 9  Canola for 1  Hydroponic Garden produce  Algae
