The  Farmhouse is a  Building where  Beavers can plant and harvest crops, including  Kohlrabi,  Cassava,  Soybean,  Corn,  Eggplant,  Canola.

Types of Crops

There is only one food that can be eaten raw,  Kohlrabies, and one crop that can only be processed into an ingrediant,  Canola, and rest of them must be processed,  Cassava,  Soybean,  Corn,  Eggplant.

•  Cassavas processed in  Fermenter
•  Canola processed in  Oil Press to produce  Canola Oil
•  Soybean processed in  Fermenter with the use of  Canola Oil
•  Corn processed in  Food Factory
•  Eggplant processed in  Food Factory with the use of  Canola Oil

Strategy

While  berries can feed a small colony, they don't have the output required to reasonably sustain a large population, nor do they impact well-being beyond base hunger. Farming allows improvement to well-being and allows a higher density of food production than berries do.

 Kohlrabies can be eaten raw, should be your first target

Then,  Cassava, since  Fermenter only require  Logs and  Power

Then,  Soybean and  Canola processed in  Oil Press which need  Logs,  Planks and  Gears to build

(If you have plenty of Logs, might consider build  Levee and  Water Dump to plant  Mangrove Tree)

Then,  Corn processed in  Food Factory which need  Planks,  Gears and  Scrap Metal to build

(You can also start build a  Hydroponic Garden to produce  Mushroom)

Finally,  Eggplant which need a lot more  Canola

(Plant  Coffee Beans and additional  Hydroponic Garden for  Algae and Mushroom after you got  Eggplant Ration)

Note: recommend setting to 'planting' priority to maintain constant work cycle after initial growth
