Science
Science buildings in the Science tool group produce
Science Points. Science Points unlock Buildings for construction and Workplaces for
Bots. Science Points are also consumed by
Control Towers. Science Points do not require
Storage space and thus have no storage limit.
Production

Inventor is a pre-unlocked building to produce Science Points in new colonies.

Usage
Some structures are unlocked for new colonies.
Unlocking Structures
Science Points restrict construction until the late game.
Unlocking Workplaces for Bots
Some workplaces come pre-unlocked for Bots. Early game workplaces have the cheapest unlocks, at 250
Science Points. This increases with the more advanced buildings, up to several thousand for late game buildings, maxing out with the
Bot Assembler at 10000.
Not Enough Science
Not Enough Science occurs when a building that actively consumes
Science Points to operate has run out of Science Points.
Currently, the only building this affects is the
Control Tower.
History
- Update 7: Folktails can no longer produce science with the Mine. In exchange, Bots can now work in the Observatory.
